I have had a great time in the last month starting to think about wedding plans. I have made many visits to Pinterest.com and have over a dozen items in my Davids Bridal favorites list. Mom gave me a great "wedding planning kit" for christmas complete with a long check list, which I'm happy to say is all caught up! Mom threw Daniel and I a fabulous engagement party with his parents and mine. The theme was "The Perfect Pear". We had nice pear dishes and lots of fun!
So far we have decided on a summer wedding at Daniel's aunts house north of Colorado Springs. We want a simple yet elegant, small wedding ceremony with just family and a few friends. We are thinking of a bigger reception later on, perhaps after the honeymoon. Our wedding colors are teal and fuchsia.
